Well left Chiang Mai yesterday and think it was the best and shortest bus trip yet about 300km and 4 hours later I am in Pai,Northern Thailand, got dropped of at the bus station with the rest of the tourists, grabbed my backpack and umbrella and made my way to scooter rental shop and picked up my transport for the next five days whilst in Pai

The trip up would be a motorcyclist dream something like 753 bends in 30 km in absolute amazing country side the weather was fine and sunny, then I picked my scooter up and basically it hasn't stopped bloody raining, but is the monsoon so is expected I suppose

Got out yesterday for a few hours and again today for 7-8 hours but it so wet I haven't taken many pictures, scared of killing the phone or the DSLR, but hopefully the weather improves tomorrow ?As the scenery up here is really astounding

We'll have spent the last to nights in Hpa An and the scenery is amazing, took a tour yesterday which would of been really good if the rain had stayed away, the rain was torrential got soaked even with wet weather gear on, ended up buying an umbrella once we got back into town

Ended up staying an extra not so I went out again today and the rain held off until just now,the scenery around here is amazing, towering mountains with rice paddies at there feet

Tomorrow am off to Mae Sot and cross into Thailand, probably spend a couple nights there before heading north and eventually in Laos, as I am crossing by land into Thailand I only get a 15 day visa

Well another bus trip this time from Inle to Bago, only took 13 hours to cover the 350 odd Km's,so arrived in Bago early yesterday morning and after early check in at my lodgings and much needed sleep I spent the afternoon organising some transport to go site seeing today and my next lot of travel to Kim Pun which I a small town near the Golden Rock

So today was looking at more temples around Bago, one of which has a huge Python ,around 7 meters long & supposedly 125 years old but either way it was huge, not much more to tell other than the monsoon is still in full swing with lots of rain still around so see you all in a day or 2 from the golden rock?
